  • New professors land on a ready-to-explore sample class the moment they sign up, so the workspace, the AI tutor, and the analytics are all live from the very first session.
  • A streamlined first run gets you to your dashboard in a step or two — just your name and consent — with an orientation card that links straight into the sample class, the tutor, and map generation.
  • An optional guided tour highlights the main areas of the workspace on your first visit, and can be skipped in one click or replayed any time.

  • Expanded French coverage across the dashboard, class, and first-run screens, with correct French typography throughout.

Grounded Tutor Citations

  • The AI tutor now grounds its answers in the most relevant passages retrieved from your own course material, and cites them inline so you can see exactly where each point comes from.
  • Each grounded reply opens with a short, honest summary of what the tutor read for that answer — no invented steps, just the passages it actually drew on.
  • Grounding now extends to the knowledge-map tutor, which draws on the documents a map was built from when answering questions about a concept.

EU-Resident AI

  • Every AI capability — question generation, answer explanations, knowledge-map drafting, study guides, and document search — now runs on EU-resident inference.
  • The AI layer routes only to EU-resident providers and fails closed: non-EU inference is no longer reachable from the request path, rather than falling back outside the EU.
  • External web grounding is disabled in document chat and deep dive, so uploaded source material stays within the EU processing boundary.

Deeper Localization & Math Rendering

  • French now extends to exam-readiness forecasts, study plans, and class-readiness analytics, with locale-aware dates and weekday labels.
  • Course module management, account settings, sidebar role labels, and the knowledge-map creation modal are fully localized.
  • Switching your language in account settings now applies instantly across the app, without signing back in.
  • Counts and quantities follow French pluralization rules throughout.
  • Learning-outcome coverage labels are now fully translated.

  • Learning-outcome coverage shows outcomes with no questions as a neutral state instead of alarming red, reserving red for outcomes whose questions don't yet reach the target level.
  • New classes default to the French /20 grading scale.
  • Study guides now define every key term they introduce, taken directly from your source material, so each section stands on its own; listings of related measures show each item's own definition and formula from the document.
  • Study-guide PDF export now renders the complete guide across pages — every section and all cited sources.
  • Mathematical notation now renders throughout — formulas, symbols, and equations in quizzes, source citations, and the professor review queue display as typeset math instead of raw markup.
