Setup steps

Add Atlas as an external tool in Moodle Site Administration → LTI → Manage tools. Use the Atlas LTI 1.3 client ID.
Upload course materials
Upload your PDFs, slides, or notes in the Atlas professor dashboard. Atlas detects chapter structure automatically.
Generate and approve questions
Atlas generates a draft question bank. Review, approve, and assign to course sections before students can access them.
Students launch from Moodle

Does Atlas work with Moodle 4.x?
Yes. Atlas supports Moodle 3.9+ and has been tested on Moodle 4.1 and 4.3.
Do students need a separate Atlas account?
No. Students launch Atlas directly from their Moodle course via the LTI link. Their identity is provisioned automatically via NRPS.
How does grade passback work?
Atlas sends completion and score data back to the Moodle gradebook via AGS (Assignment and Grade Services). Grades appear in Moodle within seconds of a student finishing a session.
Is this GDPR compliant?
Yes. Atlas processes student data in compliance with GDPR. EU hosting is available. Contact us for a Data Processing Agreement.
